Mikrofilm: Personal Stories

Mikrofilm is one of the most important film studios for animated films in Norway, and has received many honours in Norway and abroad. Mikrofilm is particularly known for telling personal stories in classical 2D style. In this panel producers Lise Fearnley and Tonje Skar Reiersen  and director Kajsa Næss will talk about the studio’s short film productions, how to select the contents, which are important to the story, and which style to use to emphasize the film’s themes. The discussion will also address the importance of the director’s approach and personal motivation for telling stories as well as the producer’s role in developing the personal style of the director.
