GRAND PRIX

Lendurid Koduteel/Pilots on the way Home

Directed by Priit & Olga Pärn

A film that makes us travel through multiple layers of deep thought, interest, love for life. His endless and sincere curiosity and ambition has kept surprising us with a new horizon in the animated films, especially in this film with a striking use of sand.

BEST NORDIC AND BALTIC SHORT FILM
Directed by Josepg Hodgson
Jury statement: “This experimental 3D film, with a very strong sound design, leaves you in a state of wonder. What has just happened? Not just in the story, but also in the viewer.
BEST NORDIC AND BALTIC STUDENT FILM
Directed by Zane Oborenko
Jury statement: “The students in the competition should be all proud because they got selected. It’s hard to select a winner because we are not judging the film, but evaluating the effort of future animated filmmakers. The film we have chosen doesn’t necessarily mean the best film- but the film we felt the most. This film gives us a poetic feeling through wonderful movement done with sand.”
BEST CHILDREN’S FILM
The jury members were John Tobias Larsen, Sivert Finstad, Aksel Berg, Andrea Berg and Nico Stenseng-Molven, all from Fredrikstad.
Directed by Frank Mosvold
Jury statement: “The film we chose is very cool, good, and is has a nice song. Don’t be afraid to do what you like!
The children’s jury also chose to give a special mention to Come On Ketchup, Let’s Go! by Staffan and Anna Erlandsson.
