Saturday is Family Day! Bring your family to Fredrikstad Kino and join in on the fun activities here. E6 Østfold Medieverksted will hold a drop-in animation workshop for children starting at noon, VR equipment will be available so you may watch Son of Jaguar and Sonaria, and there will be a Children’s Disco where you may dance with Knerten himself.

There are lots of family friendly films on Saturday: the OBOS-film Moomins and the Winter Wonderland (Jul I Mummidalen) and Ekspedisjon Knerten are both sneak premiers. The screening of the Children’s Film Competition Programme and has free entry. This also applies to the screening of Christopher’s Christmas Mission (Sagan om Karl-Bertil Jonssons Julafton) which is a part of the award ceremony for best Children’s film.

Fraser MacLean will do a book-signing of his Setting the Scene at 13:00 at Fredrikstad Kino, and Per Åhlin and Elisabeth Lysander will sign Per Åhlin: Bildmakare & animatör after Scandinavian Master at Litteraturhuset at 16.45. (Limited number of books.)

The day is ended with the Award Ceremony of Golden Gunnar at Litteraturhuset, where singer/songwriter Egil Olsen, known for his entertaining live shows, is the host. The Award Ceremony is followed by dancing the night away with DJ Vivian Vega.
