Eric Shaw is a former staff writer on the global smash hit series SpongeBob SquarePants. Having won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in Animation (2013) for his work on PBS’ acclaimed series WordGirl, his lecture will talk about the creation of Heart, Mind and Soul for television characters. He will discuss the creation of multi-dimensional characters, stories and worlds for a modern day animated television series. Eric will also give insight to the production process from the idea conception to the final script.
