We will also reveal some other highlights from the festival programme.

Film programme:

Gorilla in the Washing Machine
Director: Hung Huei Jen Red
Estonia – 2019
Length: 8 min

Late at night, there are animals minding their own business beside a lake under a delightful spring breeze. In the end, some of them meet and click nicely immediately, so they drink tea and make sticky rice, happily together ever since.

Director: Asbjørn Lote
Norway – 2019
Length: 6 min

Push, the self-balancing robot has a simple hobby: Stacking cubes. His patience gets put to the test when he discovers that he’s not alone in this world. Can he find the balance between his hobby and a friendship?

Belzebubs – Cathedrals of Mourning
Director: Samppa Kukkonen
Finland – 2019
Length: 5 min

Belzebubs’ second music video Cathedrals of Mourning was shot on location in an ancient monastery shrouded in the grim Norwegian mountains. A beautiful place, overlooking some beautiful fjords and everything. It’s a bit of a shame that the band is not exactly welcome back there anymore.

Director: Jolanta Bańkowska
Poland – 2019
Length: 5 min

A reflection about modern man in an age of omnipresent technology. Looking through stories – a popular feature on many social media platforms – we see people who are lonely, lost or already indifferent about the reality surrounding them. The action takes place during one day and is told by short, often (auto)ironic scenes in which the virtual world blends with reality.

Traveling Deity
Director: Mikkel Mainz
Denmark – 2019
Length: 13 min

Amerath is alone after her break up with Alethrion. She still has things from him in her backpack – She finds a mysterious bottle among them. The bottle holds an injured demi-god. It wants to find Alethrion for reasons Amerath cannot understand, but she refuses to go after him again. The two of them team up while the demi-god is recovering.
