Eirik Grønmo Bjørnsen is a stop motion animator and director. He graduated from the animation course at Volda University College in 2012, and his graduation film But Milk Is Important, that he made with Anna Mantzaris, became a huge festival hit that won over 20 international awards – the first of which at Fredrikstad Animation Festival. Eirik has since then worked on major Norwegian stop motion feature films and has directed commercials and infomercials. He has also been an animator on short films directed by such acclaimed directors as Niki Lindroth von Bahr and Pjotr Sapegin.
Eirik will run a workshop for young talents during the festival.
