Janne K. Hansen trained as a photographer before studying animation in Volda. As a photographer on a number of productions in advertising, short films and feature films, she has realised the director’s vision and created a special atmosphere on various high profile production by consciously using lights, framing, and tracking shots.
Through well over 20 years on numerous stop motion puppet film and cut-out productions, she has worked with several of Norway’s most productive and award-winning directors, such as Pjotr Sapegin, Rasmus Sivertsen, Kajsa Næss, Jan Otto Ertesvåg, Anita Killi, Mats Grorud, Robin Jensen and more.
Janne is part of the jury for Nordic-baltic animated short films.
