Sara Koppel is an Animation Artist working in the field of 2D Hand-drawn Paper Animation. Over the years, she has created numerous independent, hyper-personal, and award-winning animated short films, with themes including sexuality and environmental issues. She also frequently experiments by combining her handcrafted paper animation with augmented reality (AR) and has held several exhibitions featuring AR-paperworks and AR-wallpainting in different places around the world. Currently, she is working on her next animated short film in conjunction with an associated AR exhibition titled 2nd Day & the End of the World, which is set to premiere in the spring of 2024.
