To celebrate the work of animators and directors who dedicate their careers to make great stories and films for the younger age group, there will be a ceremony where the winner of Best Children’s Film will be announced.
During the festival, a local jury of three children will discuss the films in the competition programme for children’s films. This year we will combine the announcement of the winner of the Golden Gunnar award for Best Children’s Film with a screening of the winner film, along with the classical Christmas film Christopher’s Christmas Mission (Sagan om Karl-Bertil Jonssons Julafton) by this year’s guest of honor Per Åhlin. E6 – Østfold medieverksted will also screen some of their latest productions. E6 is an important partner and facilitator for the festivals outreach project for the young audience and talents.
