Regina Pessoa is a director of Portuguese origin. She studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. She then turned to animation and began to make her own films in 1996. Having won countless awards, all her films are part of the list of the National Cinema Plan and are subject of the study of children and young people in Portuguese schools. She guested Fredrikstad Animation Festival’s industry seminar in 2017.
