Kajsa studied animation at Volda University College in Norway. Graduating in 1996, she founded Mikrofilm together with Lise Fearnley.
She is an established director and her films have won prestigious awards, including the Grand Prix at the Norwegian short film festival, the Norwegian Film Critic award and the Audience award for Leonidestorm. She has also won the award for best music video in the Norwegian Grammy Awards.
Her work has been presented at festivals and screenings around the world, and her film Deconstruction Workers was widely distributed in the US and shown at prestigious festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, Annecy and Tribeca Film Festival.
In 2006 Kajsa co-founded the animation festival Frame by Frame. She also teaches animation at Westerdals School of Communication.
