Bjørn-Morten Nerland is an XR producer and cinematographer based in Oslo, with more than 15 years of experience in immersive media. He is the founder of RippleX Studios, specialising in virtual reality, spatial storytelling and interactive experiences. His latest production, Finding Frida, had its world premiere in Official Competition at Venice Immersive 2026. His work has received multiple Gullruten (Norwegian Emmy) nominations, been recognised as an Official Honoree at the Webby Awards, and received Best VR Film at the VRINN Awards 2024. His current work focuses on immersive documentary storytelling and emerging spatial technologies.
