Mette Tange is an International film director who has spent her career bringing stories to life that are full of heart, humor, and imagination. With a background in character animation - including global favorites like Minions, Sing, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs II and Captain Underpants - she has worked at the very highest level of animation before turning her focus to directing.

From her award-winning short films to her debut feature, Richard the Stork and the Mystery of the Great Jewel (2023), and her upcoming feature, Santa’s Workshop, set for cinema release in November 2026, Mette’s journey continues to prove that animation is more than entertainment - it’s a way to connect, laugh, and inspire.
