Sergo Kibus is an animation director, screenwriter, creative producer, and co-founder of the film studio Rebel Frame. Sergo holds degrees in photography and audiovisual media, and an MA in Asian Politics and Societies with a focus on Chinese indie animation and Japanese cyberpunk. His animated short Teofrastus (2019) received 15 awards and has been screened at more than 40 film festivals. In 2022, he directed a stop-motion horror short, The Undertaker, which is streaming on international platforms. His current film Schrödinger, in production, was a winning project at the Baltic Pitching Forum 2021, was pitched at Clermont-Ferrand´s Euro Connection market and at When East Meets West in Trieste, Italy. The oil-painted short is produced in co-production with the Lithuanian film studio Akis bado.
