Kristine Knudsen is a producer of animated feature films and the CEO and co-founder of the production companies Knudsen Pictures in Berlin, Germany, and Den siste skilling in Bergen, Norway. She earned a B.A. in film production from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany and is an alumna of ACE Leadership, ACE Animation, Inside Pictures, EAVE, and the MEGA Master in audiovisual management.
Knudsen’s filmography includes the internationally successful Richard the Stork and the Mystery of the Great Jewel (2023) and Richard the Stork (2017), along with several live-action feature films. She served as executive producer for Titina (2022) and is currently developing Cocobanana and the Dinosaur Hunt, Pesta (as co-producer), Checkmate, and Sara’s Midsummer.
Knudsen is the chairwoman of Animation Norway and a former vice president of the European Animation Awards. She is also a member of the German Producers Alliance and both the European and German Film Academy.
