Nikita Diakur is a Germany-based filmmaker, renowned for portraying everyday activities through unconventional computer simulation techniques that infuse his films with an inherently chaotic and unpredictable quality.
Recognized for his deliberately “ugly” aesthetic, Diakur has participated in numerous international exhibitions, screenings, and festivals, where his films Ugly, Fest, and Backflip have received multiple awards.
He has been part of the Q21 Artists-in-Residence program in Vienna and is a member of the European Film Academy.
