Patrick Imbert is a French director, writer and animator.
Graduated from Gobelins School in Paris, he was involved in numerous tv series, and supervised animation on feature films April and the Extraordinary World (produced by Je Suis Bien Content) and Ernest and Célestine (Les Armateurs).
In 2018, he co-directed The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales (Folivari, Studiocanal, Panique!) with Benjamin Renner, with whom he shared the César for Best Animated Movie.
In 2021, he signs the adaptation of The Summit of the Gods, from the manga by Baku Yumemakura and Jiro Taniguchi, and wins the César for Best Animated Movie for a second time.
