Artist and animation director, Mykyta Lyskov (b. 1983, Ukraine), from 1997 to 2002 he studied painting at the Dnipro Art College, later on in 2012 he graduated from Kyiv Cinema and Television University. He began his career in the early 2000s as a classical painter before moving into the advertising business as a designer. Since 2007, he has created animated films. Currently working and living in Dnipro, he reflects modern Ukrainian themes in his art, often reinterpreting them with absurdity and black humor. He collaborates with musicians, creating visual accompaniments for live performances, works as a VJ. He also creates non-narrative abstract animation films, using minimal computer technology. Since 2015, he has been giving lectures and organizing animation screenings in Ukraine.
