An Estonian animation director whose work blends surrealism, pop art, grotesque elements, and humor. He holds a B.A. in Fine Arts and an M.A. in Animation from the Estonian Academy of Arts. His animated shorts have screened at numerous international festivals and received both national and international awards. Beyond short films, he has directed music videos, commercials, museum commissions, and other animated works. He has presented his practice internationally and mentored animation students at the Estonian Academy of Arts. Currently pursuing a practice-led Ph.D. there, he researches new narrative approaches combining creative methods from animation and improv theatre.
