In 2004, she founded Sola Media, a leading international sales company for high-quality animated and family films. Based in Stuttgart and Munich, the company is recognized for both global distribution and active roles as Executive or Associate Producer on titles such as Tafiti, The Super Elfkens, Three Wishes for Cinderella, The Magic Flute, and The Pout-Pout Fish, which is slated for a major U.S. theatrical release on more than 2,000 screens in 2026.

The company places great importance on inclusive, culturally sensitive storytelling that resonates with audiences around the globe. Since its 2020 acquisition by Plaion (formerly Koch Media), part of the Embracer Group, Sola Media continues to operate independently under the leadership of Solveig Langeland and Moritz Peters.
