We are thrilled to unveil the short film competition line-up for Fredrikstad Animation Festival 2025! This year’s selection highlights an inspiring and diverse range of animated storytelling, with 69 films representing 25 countries across seven distinct competition programs. 

From bold student work to emotionally resonant professional shorts, the 2025 selection celebrates the dynamic creative voices pushing the boundaries of animation. The program reflects FAF’s dedication to showcasing the very best in Nordic-Baltic and international animation.
