By submitting through the network, your film will be considered not only for FAF 2025 but also for:
- Viborg Animation Festival (Denmark)
- BLON Animation and Games Festival (Lithuania)
- REX Animation Festival (Sweden)
Filmmakers, producers and distributors can submit their films to one FilmFreeway account and be considered for all competition categories that they are eligible for.
FAF is keeping our competition categories, but simplifying the process for you. The FAF 2025 Short Film Categories are:
- Nordic-Baltic Short Film
- Nordic-Baltic Student Film
- Nordic-Baltic Commissioned Film
- Nordic-Baltic Children's Film
- Nordic-Baltic Young Audience Film
- Global Short Film
Mark your calendars with the new deadline of 1 May for Professional Short Film and 15 June for commissioned and student film. Feature film submissions will open on 16 June.
