Anton Dyakov, (b.1980), in Almaty Kazakhstan, is an Oscar-nominated director, screenwriter, animator, and artist. His animated short film BoxBallet (2020) was nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Animated Short Film category in 2022. He is the recipient of international professional awards. He currently lives and works in France and collaborates closely with the Norwegian studio Trollfilm.
