Celia Kaspar is a German character designer, illustrator and educator, working professionally and internationally in the animation industry for over a decade. Her clients include Ubisoft, Penguin Random House, Passion Pictures and Boulder Media. She was lead character designer for the feature film My Little Pony: A New Generation and, since 2024, has been working as art director, illustrator and artistic team lead for the very popular German children’s book series Die Schule der magischen Tiere. Alongside her freelance work, Celia teaches character design and animation at universities in Germany and abroad. She is also actively involved in the local arts and cultural scene of her hometown, organising and contributing to exhibitions, workshops and other creative initiatives.
