Hilde K. Kjøs is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer working across documentary, photography and immersive media. Her artistic practice explores place, memory and human presence. With a cinematic approach grounded in observation and visual subtext, Kjøs creates intimate encounters that invite audiences into complex human narratives. Her acclaimed documentaries Harvesting the Wasteland (”Lykkens grøde”) and Solace (”Sju kammers”) have screened internationally and won multiple awards. In September 2026, her VR debut Finding Frida premiered at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, Venice Immersive.
