Anna is a Swedish animation director and filmmaker with a focus on stop-motion. Her films mix emotion, awkwardness and humour. She loves to balance sadness and comedy through characters that feel both strange and familiar. Her work has received over 100 international awards, including an Emmy Award, an Annie Award and European Animation Award. In addition to her independent films, Anna directs commissioned work for clients such as Apple and Greenpeace. She has an M.A. in animation from the Royal College of Art and was part of the animation team on Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs (2018). Anna has also lectured at leading film and art schools, including the Royal College of Art, UK, Konstfack, Sweden, the National Film School of Denmark, Denmark, and the National Film and Television School, UK.
