Join an adventurous journey in search of Santa's Workshop, a film for the whole family, filled with humor, familiar songs, real Christmas spirit and a Christmas message that will warm the winter cold. When nine-year-old Mari wakes up one night and discovers a gnome in her bedroom, it becomes the start of an extraordinary Christmas adventure. With a forgotten gnome mitten as the only clue, she, grandma and a very skeptical dad set out on an adventurous journey to find Santa Claus, while the mitten's owner, Santa's little helper Stompen, does everything he can to stop them. Because Santa's Workshop cannot be discovered, that would be a catastrophe! The journey goes through forest, moor and beautiful winter landscapes. But there are also many challenges, they must also get past the forest's guardian, the Old Woman with the staff, and fight through a terrible snowstorm. The journey is not only exciting, it also opens the family's eyes to each other, and they finally realize what the real magic of Christmas is. Get ready for this year's Christmas film for the whole family, packed with Christmas spirit and familiar songs from Thorbjørn Egner such as “Kaptein Sorte Bill”, “Dyrene i Afrika” og “Det snør det snør” performed by some of the country's leading artists, including Sissel Kyrkjebø.
