Rob Ling is a UK-based illustrator, animator, and motion designer working primarily in After Effects. His work combines playful, textured visuals with digital watercolor and collage, resulting in films that feel loose, expressive, and gently nostalgic - like a child’s drawing, if that child had a beard and a mortgage. Rob’s background spans editorial illustration, animation, and theatre, with clients including The Guardian, Skyscanner, ATG Theatres, and Chichester Harbour Conservancy. Across both commissioned and personal projects, he’s drawn to character-led storytelling, warmth, and a handmade aesthetic.
