KakeLakk Test Screening

---

ENGLISH VERSION:

Be the first in the world to see KakeLakk.

Would you like to watch a film before it's finished? Afterwards, you're welcome to share what you think about the story, the characters, and what you believe it's about. What's charming, scary, funny – or is there something we should change? We'd love to know what you think about our film before it's completely done.

KakeLakk is an animated film for children aged 6–11 (and everyone else).
It's being made by Bivrost Film in collaboration with Sandnes Media and Ego Media in Latvia. Bivrost Film has created many films and series you might already know, such as This Is Me and This Is It and Classmates.

KakeLakk will be an entertaining feature film full of humor, suspense, and a touch of seriousness. Right now, it exists as an "animatic" (or story reel). This means you can watch the entire story with sound, drawings, and some animation. A few scenes are already animated, while most are drawings edited together like a living comic strip. An animatic is always made first, so it's easier for the animators to later draw and animate every scene.

Now you can become the first person in the world to see KakeLakk – three years before it hits theaters.

The story:

Big adventures need small heroes.
Viga is an adventurous girl. She struggles with reading and writing but loves telling stories. Perfect Sana, who's in Viga's class, grows jealous when she discovers that Viga has a secret friend – the talking cockroach Taro. Sana exposes the secret and humiliates Viga at school.

But when both Taro and Sana's mother end up in serious trouble, the two very different girls must team up. Together, they must pull off the perfect cupcake heist, save Taro from an insect exterminator – and capture an emperor.

Duration: 2 hours (screening followed by a conversation)

Meet:
Trond Jacobsen, Ilze Burkovska Jacobsen, and Marianne Müller. They are directors and producers behind several films and series, including My Favourite War, This Is Me and This Is It, and Classmates.
