  Stephane Auclaire founded UFO Distribution in 2009, after gaining experience at French distribution companies such as Pyramide and Polygram Films Entertainment and helping create several other independent distributors. UFO has handled the release of more than 100 independent art house films, most of which were selected for or won awards at major festivals, with a particular focus on debut films. Since 2015, UFO has focused on auteur-driven animated features, releasing them with increasing regularity, a run that culminated in the multi-award-winning audience hit FLOW.

  Jarle Namtvedt is head of theatrical at Ymer Media, where the focus is on bringing both local and international films to cinema screens. Active in the film industry since 1999, Jarle moved into distribution in 2023, after founding Ymer Media in 2022. Since its launch, the company has grown into the biggest independent film distributor in its market.
