The Fredrikstad Animation Festival opens in style with a short and sweet opening ceremony at Fredrikstad Kino. The evening will offer a taste of the festival program and, above all, pay tribute to this year's guest of honor, Eija Saarinen. As an extra treat, Harald Zwart will give us an exclusive look at his upcoming blockbuster ViQueens, which premieres between Christmas and New Year in 2026. And, as always, the FAF team will make sure the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a reception beforehand to go along with the ceremony.
