The cinema Fredrikstad Kino (Fredrikstad Municipal Cinema) is the main festival venue, has six movie theatre auditoriums with modern screening facilities, and hosts most of the festival screenings and seminars.

St. Croix House is a “common room” for the city. It is a well-loved culture house for people of all ages in Fredrikstad and home to the best vegetarian buffet in town. On Friday evening, FAF takes over the space with several programmes.

Hoi Polloi is a wine and sake bar we are sure you will enjoy, and host for the Abstraction Programme. The other place to make new festival friends.

TÆPS is the best beer bar in town and hosts several screenings and events. One of the places we will meet to mingle after dark.

New for FAF25 is the Producers Lounge at Colletts. Nestled in a cozy wine bar, the Producers Lounge is a place where you can schedule 1:1 meetings with other festival attendees. Wifi is available and it is open from 11 - late. 

Literature House - The House of Literature is a popular venue among Fredrikstad locals. It hosts a great variation of cultural events year long and is the venue for the festival’s evening events. The awards ceremony will take placeat Joker Bar, located on the second floor. Egalia is the largest venues at the Litterature House of Fredrikstad and is located at second floor.

A local cafe will have a pop up location at the cinema during the festival. Relax between screenings and seminars at their cafe in the upper level of the Fredrikstad Cinema. They will have lunch and snack items everyday of the festival.

Colletts is a favorite among the staff of the festival! They are offering 10% to passholders throughout the festival and a daily lunch special for 199kr.
