André Correia is a visual artist and filmmaker born and raised in Lisbon, with a B.A. in animation from the Film University Babelsberg. He is currently working as an animator, illustrator and graphic designer. In the past years he has worked on a variety of projects, including his first short film ânsia and the VR experience From the Main Square, winner of the immersive section at the Venice Biennale. Every new project is an opportunity to explore new techniques and materials, discovering the strongest way to tell a story. His personal work is character driven and focuses of portraying the absurdities of everyday life.
